Training session about the control and impact of the PRRS

The recent platform for the control of the PRRS (ConPRRS), which it is constituted by researchers from CReSA-UAB, UACM and UdL, will organize a training session the next Thursday, on October 23, 2014, at the Faculty of Veterinary of Zaragoza.

This training session is the first of its series that will be imparted throughout this year. It is addressed to swine veterinarians from production companies, veterinarians from A.D.S., as well as to public employees or any professional of the sector interested in this issue.    

The session aim is to update the knowledge of multiple aspects related to the control of the Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS), as well as its epidemiology, the sampling and diagnosis protocol and the interpretation of laboratorial results; finally, the goal is also to offer an analysis of the different experiences in the regional control and how some elements of biosafety and immunization can intervenes in those controls.
  
The inscriptions must be formalized before Monday, October 20th.
