IRTA-CReSA conducts, as an OIE classical swine fever (CSF) reference laboratory, a training on CSF virus diagnosis in Colombia

Dr. Llilianne Ganges, CSF OIE Expert visits the National Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, in the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA) in Bogotá, from July 31 to August 4, 2017. In order to strengthen and improve the CSFV diagnosis in this country, Dr. Ganges provided a training on various molecular and virological techniques that allow the early and effective detection of this virus. This is one of the first tasks performed by the CSF OIE reference center in IRTA-CReSA.
