We are searching graduate students (Veterinary medicine, Medicine, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or similar), interested in carrying out a doctoral thesis in the animal health field.

In general terms, the main CReSA objectives are focused on research and technological development in the animal health field. CReSA is also involved in many other aspects related with this field: from educational and training programs to provide professional advice and help to public and private institutions. Thus, some of CReSA research projects are carried out in collaboration with other public institutions and/or with the private sector.

CReSA is currently in a growth phase due to the exponential increase in the number of research projects available and also because the continuous contract agreements signed with both private companies and public institutions. Subsequently, the incorporation of new research staff is requested for developing the tasks entrusted in these current/future projects and contracts. The PhD students are one of the key pieces of research. Their incorporation to CReSA would allow start a scientific career in a high quality Research Centre also getting their doctoral thesis degree in the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB), institution that patronizes the CReSA. Work made by PhD students will be of course supervised by experienced researchers.

Commitment with training new researchers is one of our priorities. In this section you will find different formulas that will allow you joining the CReSA’s research team as a PhD student.

Option 1: Predoctoral grants at public calls

This formula will allow you carrying out your research activity associated to a project in course at the CReSA.
